Before we embark on our list of quotes on gratitude, let's take a moment to learn how to develop gratitude using a special gratitude quote or two.
Quotes on gratitude keep your mind busy. When you're so focused on reading quotes about gratitude or looking at your favorite gratitude poster, your mind is “too occupied” to complain or look for the “not so bright side of life.”
Another reason quotes of gratitude are handy to have around is simply because they speak to your unconscious mind “when you're not looking.” In other words, even if you're not reading your gratitude poem, gratitude poster or other quotes of gratitude, your inner mind still sees them.
This means that you can help your mind maintain an attitude of gratitude because you are “subliminally” inputting good quotes around being appreciative.
Reading quotes of gratitude while listening to quiet music and meditating on these good quotes can help your mind absorb the quotes on gratitude even more.
A very powerful way to help your mind become more receptive to the thoughts of gratitude is to use something called a brainwave meditation.
If you read your quotes about gratitude while listening to this type of audio, your mind is lulled into a calm, relaxed state, which readily absorbs these new thoughts. For more about brainwave meditations, click here.
If you also put the same gratitude quotes up around you in your environment in postcard or poster form, you're “keeping the flow” of goodness streaming into you, even when you're not listening to the brainwave meditations or doing your gratitude meditation.
And when you are meditating, if you hold onto something like a gratitude rock, you'll also be training your body to associate the mediation, rock and gratitude quotes all together so when you have your favorite quotes of gratitude around you or read them during the day, you should experience boosted results.
I've written a fun article about gratitude rocks entitled, "Gratitude Rock: Why Make it Your New Pet Rock?" article. Click here to check it out and when you're done, hit the back button and I'll be here waiting for you...
