Have you ever missed your exit while driving on the freeway because your mind was “somewhere else?”
If so, you've experienced something called “Highway Hypnosis” where your mind is in such a state that you were in another mental zone.
If you wanted to get “technical,” you could call that a form of instant self hypnosis, which is why you want to be careful which signs you read and the input you listen to while driving in this receptive state of mind.

When looking for a self hypnosis guide, you'll want to make sure it has a good self hypnosis script or a couple of self hypnosis scripts that help you achieve a hypnotic state of mind as well as self hypnosis instruction on writing positive affirmations to input while in the state of hypnosis.
Once you choose a good self hypnosis guide, there's a very easy way to get started.
First, let's dismiss the myth that you have to have your eyes closed to be hypnotized. As in my highway hypnosis example, you certainly do not have your eyes closed while driving, right?
It's the same with a certain form of instant self hypnosis.
Once you have figured out how to get to the core of your beliefs so you know exactly how to approach your hypnosis sessions, you can simply read your self hypnosis scripts out loud in a certain fashion to place yourself into a state of instant self hypnosis.

Using brainwave meditations to achieve instant self hypnosis is especially good if you're doing self confidence hypnosis because it boosts your confidence right away by being able to achieve hypnosis right away.
