Why are Self Love Affirmations Key?


Health affirmations are commonly practiced when a person becomes ill and seeks recovery.  However, a deeper look at affirmations for healing gives rise to finding deeper levels of healing...

Such as instilling such a deep sense of self love so your body feels loved and respected “no matter” what the physical circumstances are externally.

List of Affirmations

First, let's quickly distinguish between a few different types of healing affirmations.

While most of the time, people recite health affirmations to recover from an illness, many times people include positive words and phrases around health in their list of affirmations to instill an abundance of great health because they want to remain healthy.

Affirmation examples for this are:

“I appreciate my strong health and vitality.”

“My body remains strong, youthful and vital.”

“Thank you for my incredibly good health.”

Including a health affirmation or two in your affirmation list that promotes your “already good health” is a good idea because it keeps your body tuned to staying healthy...  

And if you already experience good health, these are easy to believe and to propagate.

But what if you're doing affirmations for healing because you have an illness?  Your positive affirmations for health take on a whole different meaning.

First, you have to convince yourself that you can become well...

And secondly, you have to be able to love yourself unconditionally so your body feels loved and wants to be healed.

Affirmation examples that can get “the ball rolling” in helping your get started are:

“I believe that good health is possible for me.”

“I accept good health into my life now.”

“I trust my process and know I am already healed inside.”

“I love my body just as it is now.”

“My body is full of healing light and love.”

“My body feels loved and nurtured.”

Self Love Affirmations

Including self love affirmations on your affirmation list is a really good idea because whether you are practicing daily positive affirmations for health or wealth, acknowledging that you are lovable...

Simply because you are able to love yourself on a deeper level...

Can help you manifest things.

Why is this key?

Because when you feel lovable, you feel deserving...

When you feel deserving, you open up a channel to receiving....

When you start receiving, you initiate momentum to keep receiving...

And that momentum keeps getting stronger and stronger the more it happens.

But the first key to opening the door, is self love.

Affirmation examples:

“I have compassion for myself in all that I do.”

“I acknowledge that I am lovable.”

“I feel lovable just like I am now.”

Positive Affirmations for Health

A health affirmation that promotes self love can go much further than any health affirmations that solely focus on becoming well again because when you feel self love, you're more likely to want to get well on deep emotional levels.

Affirmation examples for this are:

“Because I love myself, I am whole and healthy.”

“I allow love and grace to fill every cell of my body with pure light and healing energy”

“Because I give myself love, I am lovable and healthy.”


Love is the answer to many problems, whether they are “problems of the world” or “problems of our lives...”

And initiating a greater self love can help you heal on much deeper levels...

Levels that you don't know are blocking your recovery or from receiving whatever it is that you desire.

Including self love affirmations in all of your health affirmations, affirmations for healing, positive affirmations for health and other positive phrases around health gives your daily positive affirmations more power....

Because they help you vibrate at the level of love, which is the highest, purest and strongest form of energy with which to manifest your desires, including great health!
