While this article is focused on using quotes of gratitude to “get the ball rolling” and to set your mind's radar to looking for positive appreciation, there are also other tools to use when learning how to develop gratitude. A few of these other “tools” are things like gratitude rocks, gratitude journals or stories about gratitude. Or, if you prefer to do more devotional-type things, you could do a gratitude meditation, gratitude letter or write out some poems of gratitude about your life. Regardless what “tool or tools” you choose, your mission [should you decide to accept it, Mr. Phelps] is to raise your emotional set point up the emotional scale until you resonate at appreciation most of the time. What I've done here is taken some great gratitude quotes and made them available in a format where you can either print out the cards that I've made, or make your own with the down loadable PDF templates at the bottom (Yes, they're free, too!) The postcard and poster PDFs are formatted on 8.5 inch wide by 6.5 long paper, so you can use regular letter size for printing.
