When you're practicing your daily positive affirmations, one thing you want to bear in mind is if there's a way for you to make each affirmation into a “subliminal affirmation.”
What is a subliminal affirmation? It is an affirmation that “slips past” your conscious or critical mind while you “aren't looking,” or in our case “listening.”
A perfect example of this is affirmation lyrics where you “sing” your affirmations to affirmation music...
Or, when you use a brainwave entrainment mp3 to lull yourself into such a relaxed state that you fall asleep while listening to your positive affirmations, or which put your mind into a fully relaxed and “more vulnerable wavelength” to absorb your daily positive affirmations.
Does this work?
Yes, in fact, you are already experiencing subliminal messaging as a part of your daily life...
While you can use this method “in your favor” as I just described above by using a theta brainwave audio, another perfect example of this type of subliminal messaging, which isn't necessarily positive, is that we listen to lyrics of songs all day long...
And absorb their messages all day long...
Whether those messages are about love, losing a relationship or anger...
They're all getting filed away on a subliminal level and implanting messages.
Now, don't be alarmed and turn off your radio. Just be aware when you're in public places that your mind is “listening intently” to the music while you're dining or working and while your conscious mind is occupied.
So, how does brainwave entrainment work exactly? Well, that's a rather difficult question to answer in 10 words or less...
When you listen with headphones to a brainwave entrainment mp3, you are changing your brainwaves to "run" at alpha, theta or delta, which means different benefits per level of brainwave entrainment. Most people spend most of their time in the
beta state, which is not a good state for your affirmations to be absorbed.
What you want to do for your list of affirmations to be well absorbed is to get your mind out of the beta state and into one of the more relaxed brainwave states...
And, since that was more than 10 words, I'll use a chart to show you instead:
Affirmation music which includes brainwave entrainment at the theta level, for example, puts your mind into just about the perfect state to readily absorb your list of affirmations.

So, how do you use brainwave meditation cds with your list of affirmations?
One, you can listen to the brainwave entrainment with headphones while reading your list of affirmations, which, of course, means you have to stay awake...
The second way, is to find brainwave entrainment mp3s with subliminal affirmations already implanted in them for you. This can take some time to find, but it's well worth the effort.
Another thing to consider is to figure out how to write affirmations correctly and then listen to the brainwave meditation audio while doing a self hypnosis script which takes you further into a more receptive state.
If this sounds overwhelming, don't worry...
